Ryan & Sachi Saville

Ryan leads the eldership team with wisdom and heart. He and his wife, Sachi, are proud parents to Jude and Thandi. Sachi, an art teacher with a passion for mentoring women, adds her own creative touch to their ministry.
With degrees in both theology and electrical engineering, Ryan brings a blend of spiritual depth and practical insight to his leadership. He’s also a published author and serves the community through organisations like the City Renew Foundation, Isiphambano: Centre for Biblical Justice, and Ithemba: Hope for Healing.
Paul & Michelle Anderson

Originally from Zimbabwe, Paul came to South Africa for university, where he met Michelle. The rest, as they say, is history.
Paul is an economist, while Michelle works in corporate banking. They’re parents to three kids, Luke, Rachel, and Nathan. Seldom will you find the Anderson home without a few extra guests or visitors—hospitality is who they are.
Reagan & Maita Skyle

Reagan and Maita, who both grew up in the quiet sugar cane plantations of eSwatini, now call Johannesburg home. They have four kids—Corey, Cole, Jesse, and Shiloh.
Reagan runs his own recruitment firm, and Maita is deeply involved in homeschooling their children. Their home is always buzzing with life and energy, and they’re passionate about God’s work in the city.
Eric & Lindsey Trusler

Eric, originally from Vanderbijlpark, is married to Lindsey, who hails from Kansas, USA. Together, they have two boys, Jaykin and Shepherd. Eric works in IT for the banking sector, and Lindsey is a linguist with Wycliffe Bible Translators.
Their shared love for ministry and family is central to their lives.
Chris & Nicky Lemmon

Chris is a Global Equity Portfolio Manager who thrives in the hustle of Jozi, while his wife Nicky is a key member of our preaching team. They have two daughters, Hannah and Sarah, and are all in when it comes to building the local church.
As a family, they love the outdoors and spending time with people.
Khaya & Tebogo Dlamini

Khaya and Tebogo are proud parents to Nqaba and Amasu. Tebogo works for an FMCG in the city, with her background in Chemistry. She is passionate about seeing the next generation of believers equipped for serving God and the city through the church. She can be found most Saturday mornings on the road trying to cut down seconds on her 10km personal best. Khaya spends most of his days (and some nights) serving the city as a Urological Surgeon. He has a deep love for people and is passionate about seeing them reconciled to their creator. Khaya loves to study and teach the Bible. He is passionate about seeing believers come to maturity in their faith and non-believers be introduced to the gospel. He is currently an elder in training.
Brett & Caryn Paikin

Brett oversees Pastoral Care at Renew Church. He is an elder in training and a deacon. He’s deeply passionate about discipleship and has a genuine heart to see people come to know and grow in a life-changing relationship with the Lord Jesus. Brett is married to Carryn, who also serves at Renew Church, managing tenants, room hire, and functions. Together, they have a son, Joshua, who is stepping into young adulthood. With a background in Psychology and Theology, he is well-equipped for his role. His desire is not only for people to experience a saving relationship with God but also to walk in the freedom and healing found in the abundant life.
Dimitri & Sonja Sarjoo

Dimitri and Sonja are a dynamic, dedicated couple with a heart for people and a passion for building authentic community. They are proud parents to their two sons, Ezekiel and Caleb. Sonja balances her roles as a loving wife, devoted mom, and accomplished lawyer. Dimitri brings his warmth, wisdom, and deep love for Jesus into every area of his life. A civil engineer by profession and an avid Manchester United supporter, he uses his practical leadership skills to guide and strengthen various teams within our church. Together, they lead the thriving Young Adult ministry and oversee Life Groups, creating spaces where people can connect and grow in faith and friendship. Dimitri is currently an elder in training, and Sonja serves faithfully as a deacon. Their lives reflect a shared vision of seeing people rooted in community and flourishing in their walk with God.

Elders provide spiritual oversight and guidance, ensuring we stay grounded in our vision and purpose.
