We’re on a mission to bring the life-changing power of the gospel to every corner of Johannesburg, renewing individuals, communities, and our city through the love and grace of Jesus Christ.
Rooted in the belief that true transformation begins with personal renewal, we’re dedicated to guiding each person on a journey of faith that deepens their relationship with Jesus and empowers them to live out His teachings. We’re committed to building a community that reflects the love of God, where people from all walks of life come together to support, inspire, and uplift one another.
At Renew, we believe that our mission starts with us but doesn’t stop with us. Our mission extends beyond individual transformation to the renewal of our entire city. We strive to make a lasting impact on Johannesburg and beyond by living out our faith in tangible ways that make a difference.

Our vision extends to the entire city of Johannesburg. The gospel is about how God is renewing all things. And it’s not just good news for the future, but a call to action here and now. We see a city where hope, justice, and healing thrive. We’re committed to being a force for good, taking purposeful action to bring about the peace and prosperity that God desires for our city.
Our Values
Grace
The transformative power of God’s grace is the heartbeat of who we are. We extend that grace to create a space where forgiveness is found, healing happens, and people are free to become all that God has called them to be.
Truth
The Bible is God’s inspired Word, filled with transformative truth. It is our final authority for faith and life, guiding us in all we do. We turn to Scripture for direction and inspiration, submitting our lives, habits, and beliefs to God’s Word.
Community
We’re committed to building a diverse gospel community where people from different cultures, backgrounds, and perspectives come together. We foster a culture of inclusivity where every voice is valued, and every person has a place.
Discipleship
We encourage joyful obedience to God’s Word. Through teaching, mentorship, and community, we help each other grow as disciples, share the gospel, and make an impact in the world.
Empowered
The empowering presence of God is a wonderful gift. The third person of the Trinity empowers the church to know the love, guidance and power of God. Therefore, we seek to be a Spirit filled church where everyone is bearing the fruit of the Spirit and growing in their spiritual gifts.
Missional
Convinced that God intends churches to be outward-looking mission agencies, we seek to embody the whole gospel in word and deed, through evangelism and social action. We desire to win the lost to Christ, make disciples, pray for the sick, bring social renewal, and help plant churches.
