Sometimes life can feel chaotic, and we may wonder what God is up to. In this instalment of our Romans 8 series, we come to a deeply comforting verse: “In all things God works for the good of those who love him.” But what does this really mean? And what are the implications of being in relationship with a God who is able to work all things for our good? Join us for an inspirational message on the sovereignty of God and the comfort of knowing that He is at work in your life.

An anchor only works because it is attached to something outside itself. In the voyage of life, our souls need something—or Someone—outside ourselves to hold us steady. In this series, we’re exploring five anchors for the soul found in Romans 8. The first is the anchor of grace. When we are anchored to grace, our courage isn’t based on our performance—or even the strength of our faith—but on what Christ has already done for us.

What is the church? How do we define it? Because the nature of something determines how we relate to it. In this message we explore this important question and discover encouraging implications.
